Wana Riverside Hotel - Malacca

The location of the hotel is great, as it is right on the banks of the Melaka river, offering a beautiful view. It is also close to the Jonker area, where you can easily walk to Jonker Street by turning left along the river bank.

The hotel lacks cleanliness, with dirty corridors, stained carpets, and musty smells in the rooms and lobby, as mentioned in a review.

Good location and near the city attraction. Room is basic and standard equipped Friendly staff.

WIFI can not be used outside the lobby.

The staff were fantastic, our room had a nice view of the city, and the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly, we would definitely come back here on our next visit.

hotel's position really close to jonker walk and easy connection to pantai eye on melaka. you can get to the bus station within 15 minutes' walk.

Room is comfortable with all hotel needs available, spacious enough. Breakfast is decent, good for a nice breakfast. I like the location being near to most of the attractions. overall its a good experience for the stay.

customer service, tried calling up 3-4 days before the booking date just to have a little verification of whether did the reservation through Booked.net went through, but was directed to few places which I think it is not relevant. End up was promised to be called back to notify me but didn't hear from anybody since then. I also requested whether can I check in early if there's room already available, but not answered. Am quite sure there's available room because its on a normal weekday Thursday check in. On the day I arrive about 7am I requested whether I can check in early than 12pm but was told that charges at RM100++ will be made for that which is equivalent to 1 night which is not worth it.

The hotel offered free parking, which was a great advantage for us as we were on a driving holiday. The rooms were relatively spacious, providing enough space for us to move around comfortably. the location of the hotel was key, as it was situated on the river bank, allowing for a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the main attractions in the city.

The rooms and bathrooms seemed quite dated and in need of maintenance. the sound insulation in the rooms was poor, as we could hear the noise from the busy main road throughout the night.

I noticed during my stay used cutleries were put near the lifts for near three days without your staff clearing them.This is on the 7th floor. Your room telephone was faulty that I had to engage your technician to retify the fault.I suggest you change your room telephones because they appear obsolele.I guess you need to open a lounge,with live music,for your guests to unwind at night. Otherwise,overall,I don't mind to revisit your hotel in the near future.

I stayed for 2 nights at Best Western and i really satisfied. Location near Banda Hilir and easy to move around. This hotel also provide ticket for Melaka River Cruise with only RM9.00..If u buy at the jetty counter RM10. The pick up & drop point at jetty behind the hotel. Their breakfast also good and varieties.

The shower in our room could have been cleaner.

1) not enough info for tourist. 2) not much activity/amenities within the hotel. 3) Lobby's ambience and the air not so good. 4) Can smell cigarette/smoking in the room. 5) Inconvenience transport service at the hotel.

Clean and convenient Stayed here for a city trip and overall it was a pleasant experience. the rooms were clean and spacious. the hotel is situated in a convenient location, just a short walk to the city center and nearby attractions. the breakfast options were diverse and tasty.

Noisy and limited facilities the main downside was the noise level at night, making it quite difficult to sleep. the hotel lacks certain facilities such as a pool or bar area.

Location of hotel si quite good, walking distance to main sights and Jonker street. Hotel clean and well mantened with good maindesk staff.

Room 624 does not have the safe, despite being supposed to have it. It ends up being an inconvenience. Breakfast room and service needs improvement.
